Mohan Majhi emphasized that employment generation is a priority, aiming for 1.5 lakh government jobs in five years, with 65,000 to be filled in the first two years. Transparency in hiring is assured through a new bill, and the age limit for applicants has been increased to 42 years.
He also highlighted the Utkarsh Odisha initiative, which has created 90,000 job opportunities in four months.
Mahon charan Majhi advised new recruits to serve their parents and ensure justice for the poor. Deputy Chief Ministers Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo and Pravati Parida urged appointees to serve the public and manage taxpayer money responsibly. Mukesh Mahaling praised the recruitment for good governance, while Nityananda Gond encouraged active involvement in improving education and administration. Thirty candidates received letters from the Chief Minister, expressing gratitude for the fair recruitment process. Other officials, including ministers and secretaries, also participated in the event.
